A 2-bedroom apartment designed for a young married couple who wanted a warm, refined home that balances comfort, function, and understated sophistication.

Design and build

The design explores contemporary calm — a palette of warm neutrals, tactile finishes, and thoughtful lighting that creates a sense of intimacy throughout the apartment. Clean lines and balanced proportions form the base, while subtle contrasts in texture and tone bring depth to each space. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are visually connected, promoting an open, airy flow that enhances daily living.

The existing layout presented several constraints in terms of natural light distribution and spatial flow. The design response focused on opening up sightlines, introducing layered lighting, and using material continuity to create visual cohesion across different zones — while still giving each room its own character.

The completed interior delivers a serene, modern home tailored to its owners’ rhythm — comfortable, elegant, and effortlessly livable.
